Our fellowship faces a challenging reality that we need to address together openly and honestly. The In Between Fellowship - our spiritual home that has helped so many find recovery - is currently spending more than we receive in contributions each month. While we have some prudent reserves, if this trend continues, we will eventually face difficult decisions about our ability to keep our doors open.
We can't do anything about what we do not know, so we are sharing this call for action with all members who can help.
Many of us remember what these rooms meant to us when we first arrived: a safe harbor, a beacon of hope, a place where recovery became possible. For some, it was the first place we felt truly understood.
The 7th Tradition reminds us that we are self-supporting through our own contributions. This isn't just about money - it's about responsibility and gratitude. Every dollar contributed goes directly to:
Keeping our space open and available
Maintaining a welcoming, safe environment
Keeping coffee flowing and lights on
Supporting our ability to carry the message
If you're able to help, here are some ways to contribute:
Setting up recurring monthly contributions through bill pay or zelle at your bank
Putting an extra dollar in the basket
Using our Venmo/digital payment options
Making up for meetings attended virtually during the week
Celebrating sobriety anniversaries with gratitude contributions
For those facing financial hardship: your presence is the most important contribution you can make. Keep coming back.
For those who can help: please consider what this fellowship means to you and how you might support its continuation.
Together, we can ensure the In Between Fellowship remains available for those still suffering, just as it was there for us.
In service and gratitude, The In Between Fellowship
